We appreciate your business and value the trust you place in us. To maintain your trust and confidence, and in connection with bringing you valuable products and services, we will work to safeguard the privacy and security of the information we collect and maintain about you (?Private Information?). How We Collect Private Information:
We collect Private Information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you over the phone on applications, on loan activation forms, questionnaires and other forms you submit, such as your name, address, income, social security number, and job history;
  • Your transactions with us, including any of our affiliates, as well as with other third parties, such as account balances, fees, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage;
  • Credit bureaus such as your credit history and creditworthiness;
  • Public sources, such as census data and real estate records; and
  • Web-based tools when you visit our Web sites, such as "cookies."

Disclosure Of Private Information:
We may disclose some or all of the Private Information we collect as described above as follows:

  • We may disclose your Private Information to financial service providers, such as banks and finance companies, in order to fulfill your request for credit.
  • We may disclose your Private Information to non-financial companies, such as direct marketing companies to provide you with offers for products and/or services that we believe may be of interest to you.
  • We may disclose your Private Information to others, such as nonprofit organizations.
  • We may disclose your Private Information to companies that perform professional services for us, such as mail service providers, and to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements, such as to offer you a financial product.
  • We may disclose your Private Information to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law. For example, federal law permits us to disclose your Private Information as necessary to parties who provide services on our behalf and to other parties, including our auditors, attorneys, accountants, regulators, law enforcement, etc.
  • We may disclose Private information that is credit data and transaction data with companies in our corporate group (?Affiliated Third Parties?). There are two types of Private Information?credit data and transaction data. Transaction data is information about your history of dealing with us, such as identification information, account history and balances, and payment history. Credit data is information received from other sources, including information typically found in a credit report (i.e., financial data we get from credit bureaus or from you that helps us determine your eligibility for credit). We share these types of Private Information with Affiliated Third Parties to provide you with product and service offers that may interest you.
  • In addition, as is disclosed on the application you completed on the website, on the application you completed in person, and/or as was told to you when you activated your loan over the phone, we may disclose Private Information to one or more participating motor vehicle dealers in your area, as well as our financing partners. In addition, if these parties are unable to provide you with financing, you have authorized us to disclose your Private Information to other third parties, such as other auto finance brokers, in order to fulfill your request for credit.

Our Security Practices:

  • We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your Private Information in a manner consistent with industry standards for similar companies.
  • We restrict access to Private Information about you to only those employees and service providers who need to know that Private Information to perform the job function or service requested.
  • We require service providers to keep the Private Information safe and secure, and prohibit them from using or sharing the Private Information for any purpose other than that requested.
  • We train our employees on security procedures.

Your Opt-Out Choices:
You may tell us not to:

  • Disclose Private Information about you to unaffiliated third parties, except that we may disclose Private Information as required or permitted by law. Required disclosures are made, for example, to outside auditors and banking regulators. Permitted disclosures are made, for example, to vendors assisting us in opening, maintaining or servicing your account.
  • Disclose Credit Data about you with Affiliated Third Parties. The sharing of Transaction Data is permitted by law.
  • Solicit you by mail, telephone or e-mail for products and services that are not directly related to your account and that are outside our regular communications with you (such as your monthly statement, customer service e-mails or when you call our customer service center). If you tell us not to solicit you, we will not disclose Private Information about you for that purpose with Affiliated Third Parties.
